📺 Suzanne began her broadcasting career in Indiana before working her way up to become a morning news anchor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At the height of her career, recurring migraines led to a shocking diagnosis: a brain tumor.
🧠 Within a month of learning the news, Suzanne underwent successful surgery. What stood out to me most was the mindset she and her husband chose during that difficult season. Rather than living in fear, they intentionally embraced gratitude. Suzanne made the decision that while she couldn’t control her circumstances, she could control her mindset.
💪 Suzanne’s journey didn’t end with her first surgery. While pregnant with her first child, she began experiencing new symptoms and learned that an infection related to her earlier surgery required a second brain surgery. Once again, she faced uncertainty with courage and determination. Through it all, she welcomed a healthy baby girl and continued moving forward with resilience and gratitude.
🌱 Yet despite her professional success, Suzanne sensed there was something more she was called to do. Eventually, she stepped away from television news, launched Suzanne Speaks, and now impacts audiences across the country through her powerful keynote, When the Script Changes.
👶 Suzanne also shared some exciting personal news. She is currently 32 weeks pregnant with a baby boy, and she and her husband are eagerly preparing to welcome him as their family grows from three to four.
📖 She is also preparing to release her first book later this year.
