Hollie Mileski is a leadership strategist, entrepreneur, and author dedicated to helping individuals lead with authenticity, clarity, and purpose. As the creator of the High Jump Leadership Method and author of Be the Leader You Would Follow, Hollie empowers entrepreneurs and professionals to discover their true identity, craft powerful messages, and step into leadership with confidence and presence.

With a career that began in engineering and evolved through marketing, consulting, and entrepreneurship, Hollie brings a unique blend of strategic insight and human-centered leadership. After working with major organizations such as Westinghouse Electric Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers, she recognized a critical gap in traditional leadership training: leaders were rarely taught to truly understand themselves before leading others. This realization became the catalyst for her entrepreneurial journey and the foundation of her leadership philosophy.

Through her High Jump Leadership Method, Hollie guides entrepreneurs and business professionals through a transformative process—helping them know the real version of themselves, craft an authentic message, speak with authority, and translate that message into meaningful impact in the marketplace. Her work focuses especially on entrepreneurs and small business owners who must embody their brand and lead with authenticity in order to attract the right opportunities and audiences.

Hollie’s approach is shaped not only by professional success but also by profound personal growth. After facing career setbacks and deeply personal challenges, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery that reshaped her understanding of leadership, identity, and fulfillment. Today, she uses those lessons to help others lead from a place of self-awareness, purpose, and resilience.

Based in Newport Beach, California, Hollie works with clients worldwide through coaching programs, retreats, speaking engagements, and leadership workshops. Her work has been featured on major media outlets including CBS and Fox Broadcasting Company, and she has appeared alongside notable figures such as Suzanne Somers and Buzz Aldrin.

At the heart of Hollie’s mission is a simple but powerful belief: when leaders truly know who they are and communicate from that place of authenticity, they inspire trust, elevate others, and create meaningful impact in the world.

Question & Answer

What inspired you to create the High Jump Leadership Method?

My journey into entrepreneurship and leadership coaching came from a period where I realized something was missing in traditional leadership training. During my time in corporate consulting, I experienced situations where leadership wasn’t aligned with authenticity or personal clarity. That experience led me to ask deeper questions about identity, purpose, and influence. The High Jump Leadership Method was created to help leaders first understand who they truly are and then lead from that place of clarity and authenticity..

How did your early career shape the leader you are today?

Early in my career, I studied engineering but eventually realized that path didn’t fully resonate with me. Instead of following the logical route, I listened to my instincts and transitioned into marketing within the electrical equipment industry. That decision taught me the importance of trusting my inner voice. It was the first time I consciously chose a direction based on what inspired me rather than what simply looked good on paper.

What role did personal challenges play in your growth as a leader?

Some of my greatest growth came from difficult experiences, including career setbacks and a painful relationship breakup. Those moments forced me to examine my beliefs, identity, and purpose. Through mentorship and self-reflection, I realized that true leadership begins with knowing yourself deeply. Those hardships ultimately helped me rebuild my sense of identity and gave me the clarity I now teach others.

What are the core steps of the High Jump Leadership Method?

The method has four key steps:

  1. Know the Real You – develop deep self-awareness and clarity about your identity.
  2. Craft Your Authentic Message – define what you stand for and communicate it clearly.
  3. Speak to Lead – build confidence and presence so you can share your message effectively.
  4. Message to Market – translate your message into visibility strategies that grow your impact and business.
Who benefits most from your leadership coaching?

I primarily work with entrepreneurs and small business owners. Unlike corporate employees, entrepreneurs are often the face of their brand. Their identity, message, and leadership presence directly influence their success. When they gain clarity about who they are and how they show up in the world, they naturally attract the right clients, opportunities, and partnerships.
