Laura Worosher
Laura is a bestselling author, publisher, author coach, storytelling strategist, and Founder & President of Beacon Insights. She has dedicated her life to helping people discover the power of their story and find the courage to share it with the world. 📚✨
But what impacted me most was not just Laura’s accomplishments… it was her honesty, vulnerability, and faith. 🙏
Laura openly shared about stepping away from a career she loved in order to stay home, raise her children, and homeschool them. While deeply meaningful, the transition was not always easy. She spoke candidly about the difficult season when her son struggled with colic — days filled with exhaustion, loneliness, self-doubt, and questioning her worth as a mother. 💔
Yet in those dark moments, God met her there. ✝️
Through the story of Bartimaeus in the Bible, Laura was reminded that Jesus sees us, hears us, and walks with us even when we feel unseen and alone. That revelation became the fuel behind her bestselling book Blind to Hope — a message that has now inspired countless people around the world. 🌟
Today, Laura continues to help others uncover the beauty, healing, and impact hidden within their own stories. And somehow, in the middle of all of that… she is also homeschooling three children and caring for more than 90 animals at her private petting zoo. 🐴🐐🐓🐰
Laura is proof that our hardest seasons do not disqualify us… they often become the very foundation of our purpose. 💫
Thank you, Laura, for your authenticity, your courage, and your heart to serve others. You are truly making a difference. ❤️🙌
Question & Answer

What inspired you to help people write and share their stories?
Laura Worosher:
I've always loved stories, writing, and communication, but my passion for helping others tell their stories grew from my own journey. After writing my books and sharing my experiences, I realized how many people had powerful stories inside them but were held back by fear, self-doubt, or uncertainty. I wanted to come alongside them, help them find their voice, and show them that their stories can inspire, heal, and impact others.
How did Beacon Writers begin?
Laura Worosher:
Beacon Writers started as a way to help aspiring authors overcome the obstacles that kept them from writing their books. Initially, I focused on coaching writers through the creative process. Over time, that expanded into ghostwriting, editing, publishing, and marketing support. Today, Beacon Writers helps authors at every stage of their journey, making it easier for them to bring their stories to life and share them with the world.
What is the biggest challenge many authors face when writing a book?
Laura Worosher:
The biggest challenge is often fear. Many authors worry about being vulnerable, reliving difficult experiences, or facing rejection after publishing their work. Writing a book can bring up emotions and insecurities people thought they had already overcome. My role is to walk alongside them, provide guidance, and help them navigate those fears so they can confidently share the message they were meant to tell.
What inspired you to write your book Blind to Hope?
Laura Worosher:
Blind to Hope was born from one of the darkest seasons of my life. After getting married, moving to a new city, becoming a mother, and leaving my career, I felt isolated, overwhelmed, and invisible. During that time, God used the story of Blind Bartimaeus in the Bible to remind me that He saw me and cared about me. That realization changed everything. I wrote the book to encourage others who may feel alone and to remind them that there is hope, purpose, and healing on the other side of difficult seasons.
What message would you like people to remember from your story?
Laura Worosher:
Your story is not over yet. Even when life feels difficult, confusing, or painful, God is still writing your story. At the same time, you have a role to play. Take one small step forward, trust God, and keep moving toward the life you're called to live. Every chapter has a purpose, and the challenges you're facing today may become the very story that helps someone else tomorrow.
