πŸŽ™οΈ From Rock Bottom to Redeemed: How Pam Rivet Discovered Her True Identity in Christ ❀️πŸ”₯

by | Jul 20, 2026

There are some conversations that simply stay with you long after the cameras stop rolling.

This episode of the You Are Worthy Network Podcast is one of them.

💙 I had the incredible privilege of sitting down with Pam Rivetβ€”faith-based speaker, coach, and founder of MBS: The Woman Beyond The Cape, a women’s athleisure brand created to remind women that their identity is found in who God says they are, not in what they’ve been through.

But Pam’s story didn’t begin with confidence, purpose, or success.

It began in brokenness.

💔 Raised in a broken home, Pam became a caregiver to her younger siblings at an early age. She became a mother herself at just 15 years old, and the day after graduating high school, moved from Louisiana to North Carolina with her three-year-old daughter to begin a new chapter with her husband.

Together they endured military deployments to Iraq, the effects of PTSD, and the weight of a marriage under immense pressure.

In one of the most vulnerable moments of our conversation, Pam openly shares how she became unfaithful because she desperately wanted out of the marriage. Although they tried to reconcile, the marriage eventually ended in divorce.

By then, she was raising three children while quietly battling something else…

🍷 Alcohol.

Outwardly, life looked successful.

✅ A thriving career in the mortgage industry.

✅ A wonderful new marriage.
✅ Great friends.
✅ Financial success.

Yet inwardly…

She felt empty.

Depression deepened.

The drinking increased.

Then came the night that changed everything.

After drinking far too much with coworkers, Pam chose to drive home intoxicated. What followed was a terrifying fit of rage that became the defining rock-bottom moment she could no longer ignore.

But God wasn’t finished writing her story.

🙌 Today, Pam is two years sober, passionately following Jesus Christ, and helping women discover the identity they’ve been searching for all along.

She shares one powerful truth that has transformed her life:

✨ What we repeat is what we reinforce.
✨ What we reinforce is what we believe.
✨ What we believe is what we live.

Through scripture, daily affirmations rooted in God’s Word, and intentional faith practices, Pam is helping women walk in freedom instead of shame.

This conversation is raw.
It’s honest.
It’s hope-filled.

And it serves as a reminder we all need to hear:

❤️ Your past does NOT define you.
❤️ God’s grace is greater than your greatest failure.
❤️ You are worthy because your identity is found in Christβ€”not your mistakes.

🎧 Whether you’re struggling with shame, addiction, identity, or simply wondering if God can still use your story…

This episode is for you.
