Inside the You Are Worthy Network, I had the honor of interviewing the incredible Stephanie Esposito — a woman whose journey powerfully weaves together media 🎥, ministry 🙏, motherhood ❤️, and unwavering faith ✝️.
Stephanie grew up in church four nights a week as a pastor’s daughter and granddaughter. Yet for a season, she ran from ministry and stepped into the fast-paced world of broadcast journalism 📰. She worked her way through ABC, NBC, and independent affiliates before landing at Fox 29 Philadelphia as a reporter on the city’s number-one-rated morning show, Good Day Philadelphia. Her reporting was frequently featured on the Fox News Network.
Throughout her broadcast career, Stephanie covered major national and international stories — reporting from the eye of Hurricane Sandy 🌪️, earning an Associated Press Award 🏆 for her coverage of a devastating gas explosion in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and interviewing U.S. Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and John McCain.
But her most defining moments didn’t happen in front of a camera — they happened on her knees in prayer 🙌.
After more than a decade in television, Stephanie transitioned into voiceover work 🎙️ and helped launch and build the online ministry of a megachurch ⛪. In that season, she rediscovered the calling she once ran from — using her voice to communicate truth, authority, and clarity rooted in Scripture 📖.
She is the author of The Covering: Spiritual First Aid for Families, a powerful, faith-based guide equipping families to pray God’s Word with confidence and authority. Stephanie passionately teaches that God cannot lie, that His promises are not symbolic, and that His authority is meant to be lived and exercised daily in our homes 🏡.
During our conversation, she shared the deeply personal story of when her two-year-old son suddenly fell gravely ill and was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. Even in the face of frightening medical reports, she never lost faith. She prayed boldly. She stood on God’s Word. Today, his doctors are in awe — finding no evidence of the disease at his annual checkups 🙏✨.
Stephanie calls her family her “forever first ministry.” Married for 19 years to her husband Mark — and “indirectly to the Air Force” through his service 🇺🇸 — she is a devoted wife and joyful mother to one beautiful young lady, two strong and spirited young men, and a lively Boston Terrier 🐾.
From the newsroom 📰… to ministry ⛪… to authorship 📖… to motherhood ❤️… Stephanie has always loved being among the people. She is a servant at heart. Whether reporting headlines, serving the church, writing, or speaking life into families, her mission remains clear:
To help families walk in the fullness of God’s promises. ✨
In this powerful conversation, Stephanie reminds us that even in life’s hardest transitions — career shifts, health crises, identity changes — we are worthy, and God’s authority is real, present, and active in our lives. 🙌
