She wasn’t supposed to survive… but God had the final say. 🙏💛

Doctors didn’t expect her to live.
But faith had a different outcome.

Today inside the You Are Worthy Network, I sat down with Sarah Vanslette Faulkner—and her story is one that will stop you in your tracks.

A wife.
A mom.
A business owner.
A woman on a mission.

Sarah is the founder of Milk Velvet Pearls, a brand she built to share a powerful message—that God creates beauty through brokenness.

But what started as her message… soon became her reality.

A catastrophic brain hemorrhage.
Days of suffering.
Sleeping. Vomiting. Pushing through.
Still showing up for her daughter. Still being present for her family in the middle of it all.

And then… a scheduled chiropractor visit that turned into a life-saving moment—

“Get to the ER. Now.”

21 days in intensive care.
A long, slow, uncertain recovery at home—leaning on her family, her faith, and everything she believed to be true.

Moments of doubt.

Moments of exhaustion.
Moments where everything she built her life and business on was being tested in real time.

But even there… God was present. 🙏

And just when it felt like the storm had passed…

Another aneurysm.

This time, Sarah faced it differently.
Not with fear… but with full surrender.

No bargaining.
No “what ifs.”

Just deep, unshakable trust in God—no matter the outcome.

Surrounded by a fierce prayer community and anchored by the love of her family, she walked into that second surgery with a peace that didn’t make sense… and a faith that couldn’t be shaken.

And once again… she made it through. 💛

Six years later, she is living proof that her story didn’t end in the ICU.

She’s now stepping boldly into her calling—
Continuing to grow her business…
Writing her first book…
Pursuing more speaking opportunities…
And using her voice to help others rise above adversity and renew their minds.

Because she knows something most people spend a lifetime trying to understand:

Your worth is not tied to your performance.
Not your productivity.
Not your circumstances.

It’s rooted in who you are.

Her words say it best:

“Your greatest struggle can become your greatest gift.” ✨

So if you’re walking through something heavy right now…
If life feels uncertain or overwhelming…

Hold on.

Lean into your people.
Lean into your faith.
Keep believing.

Because your story isn’t over.

And what feels like breaking…
May be the very place where something beautiful begins. 🙏✨
