What happens when you experience the unimaginable—not once, but twice? 💔
Today on the You Are Worthy Network Podcast, I had the incredible privilege of sitting down with the remarkable Tiffaney Lindsey Childers—a woman whose story is a powerful testament to resilience, courage, healing, and hope. ❤️🩹
Tiffaney knows what it means to survive the unimaginable.
She was in her early 30s, with young children, when she learned that her mother had died by suicide. Then, just one year and five days later, tragedy struck again when her father also died by suicide.
Two devastating losses. One year and five days apart.
Tiffaney was shocked and devastated. Yet somehow, she kept moving forward. She focused on her children, her responsibilities, and simply doing what she had always done. She survived—but for years, she didn’t realize that surviving wasn’t the same as healing.
Then an unexpected diagnosis changed everything.
After a routine surgery, Tiffaney developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a condition that dramatically slowed her down and forced her to finally confront the grief and trauma she had carried for nearly two decades.
And from that painful place came a powerful transformation. 🙏
Today, Tiffaney is the bestselling author of The Rise Back: Reclaiming Life After Suicide Loss, Pain and Silence, a keynote speaker, creator of the R.I.S.E. U.P. Method™, and a passionate suicide-loss advocate.
Tiffaney has also served in the past on a LOSS Team (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors), offering support to families in the immediate aftermath of suicide loss. These teams bring people who understand that pain firsthand to families during some of the most devastating moments of their lives. For Tiffaney, this was another powerful way to turn her own experience of loss into an opportunity to help others. ❤️
In this deeply vulnerable conversation, Tiffaney opens up about losing both of her parents, the pain she carried in silence, her battle with CRPS, and what it really means to find your way back to life. 🌱
She reminds us that healing is possible. Hope can be found again. And life can become more than something we simply survive.
Her message is powerful:
Move your body. Find your community. Don’t walk through life alone. And never stop believing that you can rise again. 💪❤️
Tiffaney is living proof that even after unimaginable heartbreak, there can still be purpose, impact, and hope on the other side.
🎙️ This is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
